International Arbitration, Mediation and Public Relations – ways to protect yourself

Lawson Dodd joined forces with law firm Reed Smith, one of the 15 largest law firms in the world, to run a seminar for Chinese businesses in the UK.

The first half of the programme International arbitration and mediation was presented by Reed Smith’s Yvonne Percival who is an arbitrator on the panel of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission. Joanna Dodd presented a summary of how to handle crises and issues covering both the theory and some “how to” practical guidance.

The event was organised by the China Enterprises Association in Britain a non-profit association established in 2001 which is run by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. Members are both state-owned and private Chinese companies including China Telecom, Bank of China and Air China. .

Accompanied by two trained baristas, the Lawson Dodd team spent two days briefing journalists on why the A Modo Mio Coffee System is the perfect choice for their Christmas gift guides.
