20 teams, one goal; to beat the Chelsea Legends

Lawson Dodd took part in Old Spitalfield Market’s ‘Beat the Chelsea Legends’ on specially constructed pitches which replaced the usual array of stalls. They consisted of Antonia (captain), Kalindy right mid-field, Rob left mid-field, Ravi in defence and Kat in goal, pictured (from left to right) with Clive Wilson, Gary Chivers, Colin Pates, Gary Stanley, Paul Canoville and Keith Dublin. The Lawson Dodd girls were the only ladies in the tournament consisting of over 100 men!

The event was held in aid of Glad’s House, which helps vulnerable young people in Kenya and Paul Cannoville‘s own community project Senkaa, a UK project committed to improving the lives of young people.

As the evening drew on, the twenty teams battled it out. The winners had the honour of showing off their skills against the celebrated former Chelsea footballers in the grand final.

We didn’t quite reach the final but there are no ends to which Lawson Dodd won’t go to for their clients!
